06/22/2010 - Tucson, AZ (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Arizona Wildcats senior wide receiver Delashaun Dean has been suspended from the team indefinitely.
Head coach Mike Stoops issued a statement that said Dean's infraction was "due to a violation of team rules," according to the Arizona Daily Star.
The paper, though, revealed that Dean was arrested on weapons charges over the weekend that includes one count of misconduct involving weapons.
Dean caught 42 passes for 396 yards and two scores in 13 games last year, starting 10 as a junior. He was expected to be one of Arizona's top threats in the passing game in the upcoming season.
In his three years with the program, the 21-year-old has started 22 of 38 games with 132 receptions for 1,407 yards and seven touchdowns.
