04/25/2010 - Kansas City, MO (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Denard Span singled in the winning run in the 12th inning as the Minnesota Twins came from behind to take down the Kansas City Royals, 9-7, in the second of a three-game set.

Joe Mauer finished 5-for-6 with a double, triple, a run scored and two RBI for the Twins, who won for the fourth time in five games and clinched winning their sixth consecutive series to start the season.

Nick Blackburn started and was bombarded for six runs -- five earned -- on 10 hits in 4 1/3 innings. Jon Rauch (1-0) allowed one run on three hits in two frames, but earned the win after closing out the 12th.

Billy Butler had four hits and an RBI, and Jose Guillen added two doubles and a pair of RBI for the Royals, who fell for the fourth time in five contests.

Luke Hochevar allowed five runs -- four earned -- on eight hits with seven strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings. Robinson Tejeda (1-2) suffered the loss.

Delmon Young started the 12th with double, followed by a J.J. Hardy walk. Alexi Casilla dropped down a great bunt down the third-base line to load the bases with no outs. Dusty Hughes entered and surrendered a run-scoring single to center from Span, scoring Young for the go-ahead tally. Two batters later, Mauer drove home the ninth run on a sac fly.

Kansas City pulled ahead 2-0 in the first on a Butler RBI single and Guillen run-scoring double, and the Royals made it 4-0 in the second. David DeJesus tripled in a run and came home on Scott Podsednik's sacrifice fly.

Minnesota struck in the third. Brendan Harris doubled and scored later on Orlando Hudson's groundout.

KC made it 5-1 in the third as Rick Ankiel scored on Hudson's fielding error with one out. Rick Ankiel doubled to start the frame, but left the game with a mild right quad strain.

The Twins cut the advantage to 5-3 in the fourth with three doubles on three straight pitches. Justin Morneau started the trend as Cuddyer drove him in. Jason Kubel then brought in Cuddyer after reaching second on Podsednik's failed attempt to play a bouncer off the wall. After Young struck out, Hardy lined out to center, as Kubel broke on the play and was doubled up at second.

In the fifth, Minnesota pulled within 5-4 on Mauer's two-out RBI single, but the Royals got that back on Yuniesky Betancourt's run-scoring base hit.

Morneau's two-out, two-run, first-pitch blast off John Parrish in the seventh knotted the score at six.

The Royals loaded the bases in the 10th with two outs, but Matt Guerrier forced Podsednik to fly out, ending the threat.

In the 11th, Bruce Chen walked Morneau to load the bases. Tejeda replaced Chen as Cuddyer drilled a sacrifice fly ball to right, allowing Hudson to score.

The Royals battled back in the bottom half, as Rauch allowed Butler to reach on a single. Butler then trucked around to score on Guillen's double down the left-field line. Alberto Callaspo then moved Guillen to third on a deep sac fly. With the infield playing in, Mitch Maier flied out to short right. Jason Kendall walked on four pitches, but Alex Gordon grounded out to end the frame.

MySportsbook.com favors Bears, Bengals, Chargers and Colts to remain perfect

LAS VEGAS , Sept. 28 - Two big match-ups of undefeated teams have fans salivating at the Week Four schedule in the NFL. The Chicago Bears stifling defense looks to provide a less than hospitable welcome to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night in a battle of two 3-0 teams in the NFC conference. In the AFC, the San Diego Chargers (2-0) head to Maryland to face the surprising Baltimore Ravens (3-0) as both try to keep pace atop the conference standings. Betting Lines makers at MySportsbook.com, online sportsbook and casino, have set the Bears as 3.5 point favorites while the Chargers are a 2.5 point bet.

Of the three remaining undefeated teams, only one, New Orleans, enters this week's game as an underdog. Despite an emotional and resounding win over Atlanta on Monday night, the Saints are a 7.5 point underdog against the struggling Carolina Panthers. Indianapolis looks to stay perfect when they face the New York Jets as a 9 point road favorite while the Cincinnati Bengals are a 6 point favorite at home to the New England Patriots.

Six teams enter the week still looking for their first win, with a seventh, Tampa Bay, on a bye week. The prospect of dropping another game would not bode well for a potential playoff run. Since 1990, just three teams -- the 1992 Chargers, 1995 Detroit Lions and 1998 Buffalo Bills -- have overcome losing their first three games of the season to earn a postseason berth. And only the Chargers managed to accomplish the feat after starting 0-4.
